ABOUT THE COLLECTION
"Artelier" showcases how fashion and art merge; a new concept that breaks with the previous sea life inspiration from the last season. The need of having such disciplines like art and fashion closer than ever has been the main idea that kicked off the collection.
The designer, based between Paris and Barcelona, offers a collection of dresses that take you to historical and contemporary artists and their well-known artistic world. His gowns transport you to different art periods and to the most celebrated art pieces that are still relevant today and part of our culture.
Through a universal language, and as the iconic works of art that have inspired the collection, the hyper-feminine silhouettes
continue as a key element in the collection. The CMYK primary colours have been used as the main colours in the collection (in the pigmentation language, these colours are the base to obtain all colour combinations). Noble fabrics, from silks to paillettes, crepes, velvets, moires and bambulas have been utilized in the collection. As well as decorative elements such as rhinestone embroideries, artisan appliques, fringes, drapes and even a headdress inspired by a Calder mobile.
"Artelier" has been shot in an academy of art where the energy and the strength of the creation can be felt, is present naturally and without any alterations.
