ABOUT THE COLLECTION
“Archives” tributes to architecture, decorative arts and materiality, reinterpreted
through sculptural volumes, precisely cut patterns and a meticulous selection of ornamental details. The collection incorporates materials and accessories from the field of architecture, masterfully adapted to haute couture, subtly fusing both disciplines in an exercise of innovation and refinement.
The set design, devised by Mariano Moreno for his Paris debut, is based on archive
images of the first haute couture fashion shows. With an atmosphere of constructive
nostalgia, the set design evokes the fantasy and timeless elegance of fashion, celebrating the looks of the “Archives” collection in perfect harmony between past and present.
